Picasa and Flickr allow photos of school events and trips to be stored, edited, and shared with parents and the rest of the school community. They can both be used to help students remember what they learned in class and on class trips. The visual photos shared will help students remember what they learned. It could also help pass a school budget by sharing with the community the great things the school is doing.

VoiceThread and Audacity are great tools that make audio and video available 24 hours a day to students. A teacher can also present someonelse's podcast in class.
The online availability of podcasts is great because it extends classroom instruction to outside the class. A sick student can learn some of what was missed in class. A student who wants to review for a test can review relevant podcasts.
